The Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation founded in 1982 by Greek seafarers and shipowners, expressing their mission “To Save the Seas” and safeguard the seas from ship-generated pollution. To date, HELMEPA has evolved into an open, pro-active and participatory platform that raises environmental awareness, promotes volunteerism and collective action, staying for more than 4 decades in the front line of the struggle for the protection of the marine environment, the promotion of safety at sea and sustainability. Its community counts 2.500+ vessels of all types, 357 maritime companies and organisations from the maritime ecosystem, and 15.000+ seafarers and maritime professionals.

Sea Teach
Sea Teach is a social enterprise specialized in the Maritime and Youth sectors. It was established in 1999 and is located in the Marina of Cala D’or, Mallorca.
Its passionate team is aiming at improving education and work conditions in the maritime sector, for disadvantaged youth and in the tourism industry. While, with its Clean Boating Association it aims at advancing marine conservation on the island and beyond.
With the support of EU fundings and our European partners it has developed innovative education systems and tools that help qualification recognition, mobility and learning.
